So much for the 2nd amendment

Some Americans keep banging on about the 2nd amendment, how people need to own guns to protect society against a tyrannical government oppressing and attacking the people.
The federal government is now sending masked death squads into US cities, killing and disappearing innocent, US citizens without due process. So where are all the gun nuts? Why aren't they on the streets in all their gear protecting the people from this government's goons?
They're suddenly very quiet now.

I assume this post is about Ms Good whom was killed in self defense by ICE agents. I am no fan of trump or the us in general at the moment but i saw the video on the bbc. The ICE agent is literally standing infront of the car as she is pulling forward and the whole thing is over in a split second.

Surw the ice agent was clipped by the car but you woudlt know that in the second yon have to make a decision. Especaiily when she had failed to comply with request to pull over/move.

Yes this is sad that this has happened but once again actions have consquences and failing to comply with a police request then attempting to drive off and clipping an officer with have this happen.

Link to the bbc analysis that shows there was an agent in front of the car

Utter ********!
I have seen several videos, magnified and slowed down. The victim had the wheels on full right lock, away from the murderer. The vehicle was barely moving when he pulled his handgun When he fired the fatal shots, he was by the side of the car. On the video you can clearly see his feet visible next to the front wheel, not in front of the vehicle, when the first shot is fired.

And Trump and his goons lied shamelessly saying the shooter was injured and in hospital when multiple videos clearly show him walking around uninjured after the murder.

Pic clearly shows him standing at the side of the car with the discharge from the first shot, and the wheels turned away from him. It was cold-blooded murder. Anyone trying to claim the murder was justified or reasonable is a ******* disgrace.

I mean your free to disagree with thw bbc who is anti trump and ice but it is clear that the man was indeed in front of the car. The first bullet went througj the front then he sidesteped and shot twice from the side.

As for an injury, the man who was driven at and hit was probably running on adrenaline. Boxing is a prime example of where people can break bones and not feel anything for ages. The same applies here. Doesnt matter who you are, shooting someone is going to have you pumped full of adrenaline. He could have broken his leg and not felt anything for hours.

Also you need to forget pics. They dont tell what happened. Look at the video, of the whole thing. Every pic i have seen is after the shots, not before which actually shows him im front of the car.

I get that you dislike what happened but you have to look logically and realise the agent was right in this instance.

The video and commentary on the BBC page you linked clearly show that the ICE thug was not acting in "self defence", and shot the woman while he was at the side of the car, not being run over by it.

Stills from the video clarify relative positions of participants at a given moment. But obviously you will want to ignore them as it shows it was plain murder of an innocent, unarmed civilian.

Yes, he was in front of the car before the shots were fired, but at the time, the car was in reverse. When he actually shot her, he was at the side of the car (including the final shot fired through the side window!)

It is mind boggling that people will attempt to justify cold-blooded murder in order to somehow "own the libs". Have a ******* word with yourself.

She was shot while driving away. Her vehicle was not 'a weapon' nor was it aimed at anyone. She posed no immediate threat.

Trump has engaged a large group of freelance mercenaries to do these ICE raids - they are not trained troops, and are clearly a bit drunk on their assumed power. Welcome to martial law.

Except the first shot was through the front window before he moved to the side. The man was as close to the bonnet as could possibley be. So turing right or left, he is still being hit by the car. We know this because he went to hospital to have his injury checked after being hit by the car.

At the end of the day, whatever you or i say is moot. He wont be chaged for firing in self defense in a situation such as this whether it actually was or not. And by some miracle he is charged, trump will just pardon him.

Show me evidence of murder and ill rescind all my statements. Maybe link me something from the bbc showing her not hitting an ice official or her complying with orders and ill gladly take my statements back.

Saying this is murder without evidence is nothing but an emotioanl reaction and a strawman.

Learn to spell emotional before calling me that.

"Murder is the unlawful killing of another human without justification or valid excuse committed with the necessary intention as defined by the law in a specific jurisdiction."

Getting hit by a woman is not a valid excuse to kill a woman

He wasn't injured. It wasn't self-defence, so it's not a valid excuse to kill a woman.

Not complying with orders isn't a justified excuse to kill a woman

I'm not a fan of the Biased BBC, so I wouldn't link anything from that, calling it 'evidence of murder'.

What is evidence of murder is the fact that Ms Good is dead long before her time.
Apparently wanting the bar for shooting someone to death to be extraordinarily high is a contentious position now.

There’s countless videos of vehicles being used as weapons, plowing through crowds whilst people go under and over them, people striking the windows and pleading for the driver to stop.

This incident is so far removed from that it’s not even funny.

This was inevitable -Trump's sensationalised 'I'm winning' lunacy has been gagging for this sort of show down.
His sycophants and poodles will all now ponce about in front of the cameras trying to justifying killing an unarmed US citizen on US soil. Trump himself has just told the NY Times - “She behaved horribly,” .....“And then she ran him over. She didn’t try to run him over. She ran him over.” Which is actually bollox. No one 'got run over' at all. A right wing hired gun overreacted, got out his gun and murdered someone who was actually just driving away.

So you have no evidence.

It is fact he was hit by the car, regardless of how hard, it a fact.

Being injured isn't a prerequisite to self defense. In fact, if he wasn't injured, it shows he made the correct decision. If he had let her put her put her foot down he would have been more injured especially as we know he was in fact hit by the car.

This situation is exactly like the Chris Kaba situation. People who think they are above the law driving at police thinking they can get away. I'm sorry but driving AT and hitting a federal agent is against the law.

Nice to see you ran your post through Grammarly this time.

Except as previous posters have pointed out to you, he wasn't hit by a car, and it was in reverse. You're being wilfully ignorant here.

You think the murder of Ms Good was the 'correct decision'? :lolwut:
Says a lot about you.

"Being injured isn't a prerequisite to self defence."
Okayyy so what is? Because we've established she didn't hit him with a car and didn't intend to...

"If he had let her put her put her foot down"
'put her put her' cool cool let me know when you have a valid, legible point because I don't know what you meant to say here.

"I'm sorry"
Don't lie to me

"is against the law."
So's murder 👍

So back to my initial point - where are all the 2nd amendment advocates? Why aren't they on the streets defending the republic against these violent stooges of a tyrannical government? It's almost as if that actually has nothing to do with why those people want all those guns.
Dollars to donuts the shooter has banged on about the 2nd amend being a god-given right.

No we don't. However, we do know that he was walking around with no sign of injury after the shooting, as the videos show.

Apart from anything else, if a turning, slow moving car is close to you, to step out of the way so it doesn't hit you (as the shooter did, before firing). Why on earth would anyone fire several shots at the driver? The vehicle could be caused to swerve and hit you. There is literally nothing about the incident that could justify his actions. But for some bizarre reason, you think it was the correct thing to do.

Listening to Trump, Gnome, etc describing the incident, you'd think it was something out of Mad Max, rather than a defenceless woman being repeatedly shot in the face by a masked thug who was in no danger.

You expect rational thought from camo-dressed loons with big guns, small penises and one brain cell?

In other news, according to the Daily Express, Trump's loony supporters are now convincing each other on social media that if Barron Trump marries Princess Isabella of Denmark, that America can claim Greenland as a dowry payment. As above.

Give me evidence she was intending to harm the agent.
If you can't, it was murder.

The reality is most likely that his anger with her for disobeying them got the better of him. But having your feewings hurt is not justification for murder. Fact.

Yes, their version certainly isn’t one where the agents could remove themselves from danger by taking two steps backwards rather than closing down the space.
