uni ucas withdrawal help

on the 22nd of December 2025 I got a rejection from one of my uni choices and then on the 28th of December I received a postcard from Surrey saying how I should apply for psychology. The admissions officer just emailed me today and said they would consider my application so I should apply but I’m not sure if I can change it or not because I know UCAS had an option that you can change your choice within 14 days or something . idk please help me 😭😭 can I change my rejection to a different uni??

You can’t change a rejected UCAS choice to another university. The 14-day rule only applies before UCAS sends your application. Since Surrey contacted you and said they’d consider your application, you can apply only if you still have a free UCAS choice, or later through UCAS Extra if all your current choices reject you. The rejection itself can’t be changed, but Surrey is still possible through UCAS.

You cannot change to a different Uni at this stage but you can change your course choice at an-already-selected Uni. So Surrey can just change your course choice on UCAS if that is what you want. This has nothing to do with the 14 day time limit.
