Second Degree Exemptions Funding

Hello. I already used student finance for a degree in Psychology which I ended up only receiving a DipHe for as at the time I couldn't cope with the final year and my second year grade were poor due to similar reasons.

I was wondering if I could do Applied Sociology and Criminology BSc (Hons) at the University of Bedfordshire and receive both tuition fee loans and maintenance loans under the second degree exemption list rules that allows full SFE funding.

Please tell me if this is possible to do this course under that rule. If it is possible can it be full time or does it need to be part time and also am I eligible for both the full tuition fee loans and full maintenance loans (specific maintenance amount I'm aware depends on my income) under the second degree exemption rules. Thank you and kind regards. Richard Roe

Hi there. Unfortunately, this is not one of our exception courses for full time or part time.

You can find a guide to our exception courses here: https://www.heinfo.slc.co.uk/resources/guidance/courses-management-service-user-guide/eligibility/equivalent-or-lower-qualification-elq-exceptions/?alttemplate=printchapter&id=1454

Thanks, Leah.
