Am I Eligible for a loan as a spouse of an EU citizen with settled status?
I want to apply for Artificial Intelligence MSc at Nottingham Trent University. It is a part-time program and starts in September 2026.
I am from Iran and have lived in the UK for 3 years now.
I am here on a spouse visa and my partner has settled status under EU-Settlement Scheme.
Am I Eligible for a loan?

Non-UK national family members of a Settled Person will be eligible for fee only or postgraduate support if they are studying in England.
The following criteria must be met;
•
The Settled Person and the family member must have been ordinarily resident in the UK, and Islands for 3 years prior to the first day of the first AY of the course
•
The Settled Person must be in the UK
•
The family member must hold a valid status in the UK
