Any update?

I'm not expecting anything until mid-February or even March to be honest! I'm sure others will post here when things start to move 😊

Haven't heard anything yet! Did see that someone in previous years heard back as early as Feb 2nd. Watch the space!

Hey my status changed to Decision Pending - Under review by department for MPP

What does this mean?

Aware that the Bennett School has a slightly different process than the rest of the school. Also aware that the DC met on 28th Jan

From what I can gather, your application has reached the final decision stage, which is usually a good sign. You should hear back with an acceptance very soon! so congratulations in advance.
May I ask when you submitted your application?

Before the funding deadline. Sometime in November end

Oh I see! Congratulations once again for getting in.
Decision pending is usually a really good sign
Can I ask did it jump from under review to decision pending right away? Or did it change statuses in between?

It changed from under review to decision pending yesterday so stayed almost a good 6-7 week

That sounds very promising, so I will congratulate you as well 🙂 What college did you preference?

Reply 18

Didn't really give that much heed to colleges tbh

Also does anyone know the funding situation. For example Oxford MPP has about 85% students in some sort of funding. Is there anything promising here other than GATES

That is partly why I asked about college preference, as specific colleges offer more or less generous scholarships. This was certainly something I considered when I applied! All I could find is one statistic that said 21% of Humanities and Social Sciences postgrad students are fully or partially funded for their studies
