When I went last year I think there was a couple of talks and a tour around the vet school.

People that have been before -were you able to look around accommodation? Do most vet med students live in SB?

Yes you could look around the accommodation. Most of the accommodation onsite belongs to an external provider ( Campus living) which is where most people live in 1st year. From 2nd year onwards people tend to move into Kegworth.

I was a bit anxious when I got the email but a member of staff from Uni of Notts reached out and encouraged me to book a place as apparently it is really valuable to get a feel for the course . Apparently we do a few 'taster' sessions, get to meet the staff and potential course mates and also look at accommodation as well as getting a feel for the SB campus. Let me know if you book! It'll be nice to know someone else is going!

I think it’ll depend on the rest of my offers if get RVC (not confident on that what so ever lol) then I probably won’t but if not I probably will. It’s just a bit of a pain to get to by train for just 2.5 hours.

I'm April for now. Really hoping I get switched to September cohort (am a mature student and my job contract ends in July...). Have firmed the offer though and will be going to an open day in March! So excited to get started
