Would I get into Bristol Uni with predicted AAC?

i've been really wanting to study marketing at uni of bristol since i was in year 11 and i've been given my final predicted grades of distinction in media, A in textiles, and C in business. i'm eligible for a contextual offer of ABB which is pretty much the same as i'm predicted and i think my personal statement is very strong but i've also heard bristol don't tend to read them. ive read online that acceptance rates in 2024/25 were around 60% so would my chances of recieving an offer be okay? or am i cooked because of my grades?

ABB isn't the "pretty much the same" as what you're predicted, because your predicted C doesn't meet that requirement. Your predicted grades might give the same number of UCAS Points as AAB at A-level, but (as far as I'm aware) Bristol don't make offers on the basis of UCAS Points.

Common guidance for choosing which universities to apply to includes applying to one ambitious target, three universities where you're confident of meeting their requirements, and one wanting lower grades as a "safety" net. So it would be fine to include Bristol in your applications, but being aware that your predicted grades don't quite meet the contextual offer.

It would be worth you reading through Bristol's admission statement for your programme. This says that while they "do not normally consider the personal statement and reference", it goes on to outline the circumstances in which they do look at them, and what they are looking for when they do.

Be aware that the cut-off point for UCAS applications for equal consideration is 18:00 on 14th January, so if you haven't submitted yet you've left it very late. Bear in mind that once you've submitted, your school/college need to add their reference too, and they have to do that before 18:00 on 14th January too.
