Hey,

There’s a lot of things to cover is there anything in particular you are worried about?

But generally, I love the uk university system. It’s 3 years for most courses including law and nursing and even engineering. First year of the degree doesn’t really count towards your final degree grade but it’s helpful when you apply to placement or internships. As international students different universities have different fees, Russell group tends to be more expensive compared to other uni.

Also you may want to look into uni that has big international students community so you don’t feel too alone. some uni may be International student heavy on postgrad but not undergrad. I went to university Sheffield of Sheffield and there’s load of international undergraduate students and lots from Nigeria. Another thing you can do is to message the Nigerian societies of different universities (Nigeria society uos- for Sheffield) to have an idea of what uni feels like for them as that would be more relatable and from that you can sense if there’s more undergraduate or postgraduate students community.

Also about living: accommodation is always guaranteed for first year student but it might not necessarily be the cheapest option or the closest to your uni. And some cities are cheaper to live in than others. It may seem like I’m selling Sheffield but it was the perfect balance of city and town. Not too expensive and everything is within walking distance. Not too far from Manchester airport and 2 hrs from London on the train.

Let me know if you have any specific questions and will try to answer it.
