nottingham vet med cohort swap

Hi all, i’ve been offered a place for the april 2027 cohort but due to living arrangements with my boyfriend i want to swap to the september cohort, is this possible???

The best people to ask about this are the university vet school as only they can make that decision. However I would ask soon before all of the September offers are made. Hope it works out for you!

i’ve emailed the vet admissions team, the nottingham admissions team and i took part in the sutton trust pathways program at nottingham as well so i’ve emailed them too, im just hoping for the best 🤞

no, i’ve filled out the form online and apparently they review them in may/june then again on results day, so fingers crossed!

I've filled out the form too! I don't know what to do in terms of firming Nottingham though because I would only firm if I got september, however I don't know if I will until after you have to firm. What are you going to do? Hopefully it works out for us!

my boyfriend has an unconditional offer at NTU for filmmaking, and we’ve been planning on living together for a while now. we can still make it work regardless of if i get april or september admission, but it’s significantly easier with september admission, so im firming nottingham regardless. it was my number one vet school regardless so i was always going to firm it probably, i liked bristol as well but its so expensive to live there

I'm in the same boat with April 2027... My job contract runs out in July so having to potentially find employment for the extra 7 months is tough ☹️ Fingers crossed we'll be able to change cohort but so exciting to get accepted!

Any more updates on the cohort swap situation? I'm unsure if I firm nottingham for April if that means I wont be able to swap into sept if theres an opening

I firmed my Nottingham offer for med but they assured me I would still be eligible for September cohort 🙂 I'm really hoping for the swap!
