I've got my interview at Hertfordshire this week and I'm not 100% sure on what they mean by 'basic chemistry questions'. I've heard that you may be asked to name functional groups and list the advantages and disadvantages of stereoisomers, but I'm not sure what else they ask / how to prepare for that. Any help pls?!!

For me they just asked a simple gcse 1 marker chemistry question it didnt even require any revision before hand.

For mine they definitely had a focus on calculations and some organic chem basics like stereochem and functional groups They also did some dosage calcs, theyre not too hard once you understand what youre doing )

I had my interview today, it was just 2 dosage questions and then a gcse chemistry multiple choice 1 marker question. I was so stressed for no reason 😅

It was just by myself, and I had one situational judgement questions where I had to rank the order of how I’d approach the situation E.G A,B,C,D. I just received my Hertfordshire offer today so I can provide any help if you need it

Also did they ask questions about your personal statement?
Also did they ask questions about your personal statement?
No nothing about my personal statement, the dosage questions were pretty easier, I’d say it’s equivalent to year 9 maths. The chemistry question was also super easy. I’d say they are nothing to worry about. I was also nervous for these but they’re honestly not hard at all. I got 3 maths questions and 1 chemistry question.
Hiii, how did you guys check what the interview topics were on? I assumed the university would email what the interview would be about but I haven't got anything 😭
