2027 applications for mechanical engineering at Cambridge

From a very competitive private school in Surrey and Got all 9 in GCSE and academic scholarship from school for year 12-13. Doing AS level and physics, maths , further maths, computer science for A level. Expecting A* in all 4. Additionally doing Compos and quantum from Oxford uni.
What else I should be doing to get into Cambridge mechanical/ aerospace engineering. Planning to appear for TMUA and other exams in October. Any suggestions would be very helpful:-)

i think engineering at cambridge is general in the first couple of yeras, and then you can specialise later on.
i dont have much to say as i am a maths applicant, however i have friends who have been successful in getting oxbridge interviews for engineering, and they often have good work exp. as engineering is a very hands on degree, you'll want to exhibit skill and interest in that. you can show this through personal hobbies and personal projects you have done with regards to stem and eng. you could also read books about your subject, as you would wanna display a good balance between hands on experience and academic interest in eng.
for cambridge eng, i think you'd have to take the esat, and not the tmua.
hope this helps !
