Studying Abroad at RHUL As American Student

Hello,
I am a Chinese student from America (California) who will be studying abroad at RHUL next fall (my senior fall). Would you guys recommend RHUL to study abroad? I’ve heard it’s isolating and depressing, so I’m not sure if I should switch my program
