Hello, I am a Chinese student from America (California) who will be studying abroad at RHUL next fall (my senior fall). Would you guys recommend RHUL to study abroad? I’ve heard it’s isolating and depressing, so I’m not sure if I should switch my program

We understand that moving to a new country can feel daunting, but here at at Royal Holloway we offer a warm, close-knit community and plenty of support for international students. Our campus is known for its friendly atmosphere, and there are over 100 student societies and clubs where you can meet people who share similar interests.
In terms of location, our beautiful Egham campus is just a short train ride from central London, so you can enjoy both a calm study environment and easy access to the city’s culture and activities. If you’d like to connect with current international students or learn more about life on campus, our International Student Support team and student ambassadors are always happy to share their experiences. You can chat to some of them here: https://www.royalholloway.ac.uk/chat/.
We hope you’ll decide to join us 🙂 if you have any other questions, let us know!
Best wishes, Royal Holloway, University of London Official Rep
