Keele biovet and UCLAN vet med foundation year enquiries

Hi,
I’ve recently been offered a place from Keele in bio veterinary Science and I was hoping to hear from anyone who’s done it or is currently on it.
I understand that you need to achieve 70% overall and that only 5 students progress into the next year, which is making me a bit nervous. I just wanted to ask:
How did you find the course overall?
Is it manageable to get 70% if you put the work in?
How intense is the competition for progression?
I’ve also applied for the UCLan Vet med Foundation Year, but I haven’t heard anything back yet. Has anyone else applied and heard back, or know if I should be expecting updates soon?
Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated thank you!
