Hi there!

In my personal opinion as a student, if you are planning to use those notes only for your personal revision, isn't it technically like buying a book? 😅

However, there are a lot of nuances. Almost all universities have strict rules against collusion and contract cheating. For example, if you are planning to submit any of those materials as your own work - you are clearly breaching academic integrity rules. So it really depends on how you are going to use the information you are purchasing. The best point of contact would be your university's academic integrity policy. For example, here is the policy we have at DMU: Academic Integrity and Misconduct Policy.

Hiya,
I don't think there is any problem sharing notes with peers for revision and studying purposes. However, it is a different story if you are planning to use the notes for a writing assignment as it might be flagged for plagiarism 🥲

Why would you need to buy notes at all, why not just ask a coursemate to see their notes if you missed a lecture or what have you?
