Salford university: Diagnostic Radiography application

I applied to Salford uni for Diagnostic Radiography start of dec and got sent a link to register for application portal. I spoke to some people who also applied for same course here, they did not get any email for applicant portal and they have already gotten their interviews and offers and I have not yet received a response, I know there's still time that is not the issue.

I am so confused, in the application portal there's sections, one of them is 'UCAS applications' under which I can see my application and there's another section 'Submitted applications' where it shows one but when I click it it says 'there are no records to display.'

I am not sure what to do, I am just a little worried regarding the portal and differences in both application sections, it's making me think have they received my application correctly?

Hey @mariams07 ,

I'd definitely recommend contacting our Enquiries team to have a chat so they can take a look at your applicant portal and make sure everything looks alright. I'd recommend giving them a call on 0161 295 4545, just so you can get speedy reassurance and can describe your concerns whilst speaking to them!

I applied for Salford and in order to confirm your interview your friends had to log onto the portal
You would then receive a confirmation email stating all you need to know about the interview
I’m not sure why they were given offers as I’m sure everyone must do an interview for diagnostic radiography to check our understanding and ethics
There is a possibility they’ve forgotten about logging into the portal and confirming or not confirmed it at all if they briefly skimmed the interview invite email

Hi, just wondering how you know if you have been unsuccessful in the interview & did not get a place. Does the university email you or not? Its just that i did my interview towards the end of November and I haven’t heard back since

Hey,

You should see any application changes on your UCAS, as thats where we'd update first! Its not unusual for decisions to take several weeks to process (especially with us having the winter break and the UCAS deadline in January), but if you're worried about your application I'd recommend calling our enquiries team on 0161 295 4545 and they'll be able to take a look at your application and advise over the phone!
