did anybody get posted a letter from the uni of reading basically glazing their personal statement? i got one from the philosophy department and i was wondering how many other had this experience hahaha

Good afternoon,
It's great that you received a letter.
Each department replies to its applications in different ways. Some departments simply send the UCAS application back, some email the students, and others send letters or postcards.
We currently have a University of Reading Applicant Thread 2026, where new students can connect and discuss with one another. Similarly, the student ambassadors have posted key tips for prospective students to consider when joining the university.
The University of Reading offers an ambassador scheme, allowing prospective students to connect with current students. You can find more information here. They will be able to provide you with an insider's perspective on the degree and answer any questions you may have about the course.
