Art gcse help

I do art edexcel gcse
For the new theme "found" I want to do things related to nature and stuff
But like our teacher has always said we need to do a photoshoot for reference images if we want more marks
But the topic I'm doing can be hard to take photoshoots
I want to do like fungi stuff + also crafting things based on animations (like famous movies)

how am I meant to do a photoshoot for this?

Take a walk out into the woods and try find fungal growth on trees or just plants on the ground. You could probably just take multiple angles of the same one if you struggle to find tons. Living in England is quite good for this, we have a lot of green areas near towns and cities. Or maybe try buy some mushrooms and rearrange them in your backyard.

For crafting, you could try make models yourself then rearrange their positions since it would count as art in a way (I made a 3D clay skull for one of my year10 themes - Dia de los muertos). If you're taking inspiration off a source, remember to make note of that too or maybe make a mindmap of different movies you want to draw inspiration off

Hope this helps!

You could try crafting fungi out of paper or something similar, I think. There's a lovely lady called Ann Wood (also known as woodlucker) who you could use as your inspiration for that. But I'd understand if that sort of thing would interest you less if you prefer the idea of photography and animation - and also if it would take up too much time (though perhaps you could use the paper fungi in other areas of your project). Otherwise, the best place to find fungi is usually in damp woods, so if you have a lot of trees in a local park, I would reccommend investigating those. Hope this helps
