UCAS application help for physiotherapy!

Hello! i need help for my UCAS application because on reddit im hearing that this is a VERY competitive course and i genuinely am so stressed out as to whats going to happen because i am at a IB PG of 40 and I am applying to Kings college london, Nottingham, nottingham, southampton and liverpool. i also heard that if im an international fee payer or a visa student then i may not be eligible to study an allied health professions course (and if a university does accept international applicants, then competition is going to be extremely high) which I'm super worried about. kindly help out!!

Hello! i need help for my UCAS application because on reddit im hearing that this is a VERY competitive course and i genuinely am so stressed out as to whats going to happen because i am at a IB PG of 36 and I am applying to Kings college london, Nottingham, nottingham, southampton and liverpool. i also heard that if im an international fee payer or a visa student then i may not be eligible to study an allied health professions course (and if a university does accept international applicants, then competition is going to be extremely high) which I'm super worried about. kindly help out!!

Yes, AHP courses are competitive, and some universities cap international numbers, but an IB predicted 36 is strong,g and you’re right to apply to places like KCL, Nottingham, Southampton, and Liverpool as aspirational choices.
That said, it’s really sensible to have at least one realistic option as well. A university like Canterbury Christ Church (CCCU) is worth considering because they do accept international students for AHP courses, assesses applications holistically, and is known for being supportive. They also offer foundation routes if needed, which are a valid and respected way into healthcare degrees.
Adding a safety choice doesn’t lower your chances elsewhere; it just protects you. Focus on a solid personal statement and interview prep, and try not to let online forums spiral you. You’re doing fine. You can visit our website to know more information about the courses, in case you consider it as an option- Home - Canterbury Christ Church University
