Rejected from Kent medicine - alternative courses form

I was rejected from the Uni of Kent to study medicine, and now I have all of Kent’s courses open to me through an alternative courses form they’re offering. The problem is that I’m thinking of applying to a course completely unrelated to medicine (law) so I’m wondering whether I still have a chance with my med personal statement or whether I have to write a completely new one tailored to it. As I’m writing I’m still thinking about how I’ve been pulled towards both law and med for the past few years. So what do I do?
Thanks

Is the alternative course list all biomed type courses? If so, just respond and ask them whether your preferred course might be an option, and if so, whether a new PS is needed.

Phone them up and ask if they will allow this - they probably will - and if so, will they accept a Law PS sent directly to them. Should be fine.

Hi,
I hope you are well! 😊
I apologise for the delay in getting back to you!

Deciding what to study is so difficult, especially when there are so many courses to choose from! It's also normal to change your mind and decide to go down a different path. Law does sound really interesting too!😊 One of our reps Sriijita studies law, so if you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch!

As others have suggested on here already, I would recommend getting in touch with the admissions team to check this with them. You can find their details here:

Let me know if you have any trouble contacting them, and if you have any other questions😊

Best wishes,
Josie

I’m sorry to hear you were rejected. I’m interested in KMMS too. Can I ask what your gcse stats were ? I know that sometimes going to a grammar school doesn’t help you when applying to KMMS…
