Which uni can I attend?

It really depends on your grades, subjects, and what you want to study. There isn’t one “right” university for everyone.
If you’re open to different routes, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) is a good option because it’s flexible with entry profiles and offers foundation years, accepts mixed qualifications (A levels/BTECs), and considers contextual and mature applicants. Outcomes and support are strong, especially for healthcare, education, and social sciences.
Best advice: check entry requirements for your course, apply to a mix of aspirational and realistic choices, and don’t rule out foundation routes; they’re a solid way in. You can also go through our website on the given link to know more information- Home - Canterbury Christ Church University

Which uni can I attend?

Hi

I hope you are well! Yes, as mentioned, the uni that you can attend really depends on the grades you achieve. Different universities and different course have specific requirements. It is important if you have a particular uni in mind that you research the exact entry requirements beforehand so that you know exactly what you need to achieve in order to be able to attend.

Are you currently studying A Levels? If so what subjects are you doing? If you have any predicted grades too then they can be useful for starting to have a look at the unis you can attend and the courses you can study however, always keep in mind that they are predicted grades and not yet the real things. My best advice is if you have a certain place in mind then you can research the uni and each course they offer will have the entry requirements for it. You can then note them down and always have them to hand so that you know what you are working towards!

Keep up the hard work to achieve good grades and you can aim to go anywhere! Good luck with everything and let me know if you have any other questions, I am more than happy to help!

Hey,
Finding the right university is a mix of looking at your predicted grades and figuring out where you’ll actually be happy.

Here is how you can narrow down your list before the deadline:

The "Vibe" and Location: Think about your daily life. Do you want a busy city university where you're part of the hustle and bustle, or a quiet campus where everything is in one place? Convenience is a huge factor in how much you’ll enjoy your time there.

Check the Modules: Don’t just pick a university because of its reputation. Look at what they actually teach in the second and third years, make sure the specific topics interest you, as every uni structures the same course differently.

Look for Foundation Years: If there is a university you love but your grades are a bit lower than their standard entry, check if they offer a Foundation Year. It’s a brilliant way to get into a uni while getting a bit of extra academic support.

Ultimately, the choice depends on where you feel you’ll be the most comfortable and supported.
Hope this helps!😊

Which uni can I attend?

Hi there,

It can be tricky finding the right university for you so I understand not knowing where to start! Here are some things which helped me with finding the right uni for me:

Having a look online at the different courses that universities offer and see which ones you like the look of. I had a rough idea of the course I wanted to do, but different universities will have different versions of the course and different modules, so have a look and make a short list of which you like the sound of.

Have a rough idea of where you want to go. I knew I wanted to go to a city where there would be lots of students, rather than a smaller town so this narrowed down my search. I also knew I didn't want to be too far from home, which narrowed down lots of universities too.

Looking at league tables is helpful too, and they will show you different information which you can use depending on which elements are important to you.

Looking on places like here, or Student Crowd as they will show you what it is like from a student's perspective which is always good to know. There is also a platform called 'The Ambassador Platform' where you can talk to current students to see if they like the uni and what their experience is like.

Going to open days is important too as this gives you the best chance to get a feel for the place and see if you like it. You can also chat to lecturers and students to ask any questions there too.

I hope some of this helps,

Hiya,
What subjects or specific courses are you looking at?
Once you have narrowed that down, do some research on known uni's for that subject and go for some Open Days 🙂 Open Days are a great way to see if the uni, course structure and environment is the best suited for you!
It is also a great way to speak to current students and lecturers in person to get a grasp on what the course is actually like 🤗
Location is also big factor! Would you prefer to commute and go to a uni close to home? or would you like to stay in halls and experience a totally new environment?
I hope this helps and I wish all the best in your search!
