I did rs 2 years ago and got a 9. A way i would refine my exam answers was by finding out exactly what each question would ask for, whether it needed references to the bible for example. To guarantee full marks for every essay, i would compare my question to model answers and remember exactly what they did different to me and i would use that for all future essays and rs from then on was pretty smooth. Interms of content, i found it incredibly useful to find a niche but very useful quote or story from a religious book. For christianity i would use stories told in the bible that would cover a variety of topics which meant that i only had to learn around 3 quotes max for a full christianity section. For paper 2 dont be afraid to use easy quotes from religions outside what you are learning. For GCSEs i did islam and christianity, however i learnt very useful and easy quotes from buddhism, hinduism and sikhism
