Yeah it would be interesting to know if they prefer more experienced individuals on GGD as they have the MSt in Diplomatic Studies which is aimed towards early-career diplomats. GGD is obviously more academic-orientated so they I'd believe they also accept applicants with less experience but as the admission rate is low the competition is tough.

I think GGD is not aimed at early-career diplomats but maybe towards students that have some relevant research experience? Idk... what are your backgrounds? I am finishing undergrad but have been working on a think-tank for a couple years and been to a couple conferences as a delegate (I don't think is much but better than nothing i guess?)

Have you tried checking the code for the number of docs? Any insights you can find? Or has it been fixed for this year?

I can't see anything, I think they patched it for this year. Also the trend of last year seems to be that rejections get sent out before offers, so it might be that for me, best of luck to everyone!

Judging by the threads about other courses, the button seems completely random this year - some got rejections, others acceptances. So hope it still works out for you, best of luck!!
At least good to know they’ve actually started reviewing the applications, perhaps decisions will be released early next week after all, really don’t want to have to wait until the 20th…

Mine disappeared too, they changed the source code this year! Did anyone's button not disappear?

Which button is everyone referring to? I can still self service & view application, looks exactly how it did for the past two months still.

If you go to the supporting documents page, there has been an upload button to send additional documents.

Honestly who knows! Apparently, it just means they have loaded your decision onto your application or not yet, which could be completely random. 5 days to go, whatever happens well done everyone :smile:
