How did everyone find the paper? It was quite good tbh. I got the predication for the six marker wrong as I though it was going to ask about the first step of extraction of aluminium from bauxite. I found paper predictions this teacher posted on tiktok and I made sure that I was comfortable with the topics mentioned. Did anyone find the paper bad? Don't worry as we have two more papers to boost your grade! (This might be a duplicate post as I written this already but I don't think it was posted)

It was alright i think messed up in some places though, I’m just gonna do my physics I’m thinking 6 marketing for physics might be Bernoullis principle while for biology might be lungs or diffusion(cell membrane) but heart still has a probability resit paper was kidney and January was heart

Yes, I was thinking the exact same for the biology 6 marker since that topic has not come up in a while, but my friends were saying there is a possibility of a kidney heavy paper which i'm not ready for lol but for physics I hope it is the Bernoulli's principle, they might show you a picture of an aeroplane wing cross-section and ask you to explain it using that picture. Hopefully these papers aren't bad but good luck for tomorrow!

It was good I did prefer the mock paper but chem was good. Bio was okay but that four marker mas quite difficult, how did u work it out if u don’t mind saying? Physics was probably the hardest amongst the 3. Are there any questions that u remember from each paper? I wanna see if I was on the right track when I answered. I genuinely think there was tooooo much maths, I liked the bio 6 marker and the chem 6 marker was also pretty good. I think the grade boundaries will probably go down seeing as the papers were kinda hard as a whole. Much harder than any other past paper.

Chem was defo good. Are you talking about the four marker where it asks about what happens when there is a hole in the septum between the ventricles or the one about the coronary arteries? I don’t remember much of the questions anymore because as soon as I left the exam hall after bio my brain shut down and left exam mode lol. But if you remember any questions I can try remember what I wrote. The six markers were surprisingly not bad than I expected. These papers were harder than all the past papers I did and I’m wondering how the retake papers in may/june will be like.

Hopefully u won’t have to retake and u get the grade u want!! I was talking about the calculation four marker it was the oxygen consumption one. I was sooo confused on that one. For the first 2 multiple choice questions was it inspiratory reserve volume and residual volume?

Thank you! I really hope I atleast get a merit bcs the hope of getting distinction has been thrown out the window lol. I also hope you get the grades you want for unit 5 and 7! For the first two multiple choice I put down those answers! I have no idea what I did for that calculation as I kinda winged it hopefully I get atleast 1 mark from that lol. But anyways i’m so glad we’re done with exams, me and my friends jumped in joy haha. Now it’s onto assignments and then ucas which i’m so scared for. What units have you done so far? and what uni’s did you apply for and what subject did you choose if you don’t mind me asking.

Npp and thanks so much. I’m so happy exams are over aswell but ig I’ve got to work on my resubs now 😪 Errr I’ve done unit 14 we’ve only done a + b we’re gonna start assignment c I’ve done unit 15, assignment ab and unit 23, assignments a + b. I picked bio medical science but I’m not 100 percent sure if I still want to do it and in terms of unis I picked Leicester, Derby, BCU, Worcester and university of Birmingham. What about u?

I am doing unit 9 and i’m onto the last assignment and have to submit it next week. I’m also doing unit 14 and I did assignment A and now doing assignment B. Since we’re done with exams we’re starting unit 6 and two other units I forgot the numbers for it. In terms of uni i’m doing radiography and applied to city st georges, hertfordshire, buckinghamshire and i forgot the others but the uni I want to go to is city st georges. Hopefully we get accepted to our first pick unis! Also what do you want to do after uni if you proceed with biomed since it gives you many career paths to choose from.

Probably a biomedical scientist tbh. I was originally going to pick radiography or audiology but I was kinda iffy about audiology just cause very few unis do it and there aren’t a lot of job opportunities compared to other professions. It was a hard pick between radiography and biomed but I just picked bio med, I heard u can switch courses when you go to uni so if I do get into biomed and I’m not happy with it I’d probably want to change it to radiography. I even considered nursing 😭😭

i cant lie i was really stressing for chemistry.. but that was the easiest paper ive done ever. it was so good, i only struggled onn 2 questions but even those i still think i picked up some marks. biology was absolute light work. physics was ALRIGHT. i strugged on that multiple choice about adiabatic compression, expansion question but who cares. and, the six markers across all 3 papers were really good. id say for 3 the markers in total i think i got like 14-16/18
