Illustration at UCA

I'm considering which unis to go to for Illustration (I've applied already and got some conditional offers). One of my top choices is UCA. One of my concerns is that although I am certain I want to do illustration, I'm really interested in animation. The reason I didn't choose animation is because I don't want to make only animations as a part of my course. Does anyone know whether the Illustration course at UCA is the type of course where I'd be allowed to experiment a little with animation?

You can always email them and ask, but sometimes you might have to wait a little while for a response.

In general though, illustration courses tend to be fairly open-ended, so I imagine you would get a chance to experiment with animation if it was something you were enthusiastic about.
