Government announces UK graduate prioritisation

After last year's frightful statistics on the number of doctors who did not find training posts or substantive employment post FY2, the government's new legislation for UK graduate prioritisation will be good news for current medical students in the UK (and Ireland), who will now hopefully avoid the horrendous competition for specialty jobs as a result of increased competition from non UK-trained doctors. This measure stops us from having a bunch of unemployed doctors sitting about, but does not actually address the staffing shortages.
