Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. I can't say what the best uni would be but I can provide a bit more information about the Geography degrees we offer! You can have a look at our Geography degrees here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/geosciences/departments/geography-environment/study-here/undergraduate-geography/ma-and-bsc-in-geography/
The BSc would be the best option to focus more on the physical side of things, but you would still have the opportunity to study human geography modules too. The course pages at the link above will have full details of the different modules and you can also look at a guide to the courses here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/media/site/geosciences/documents/Geography_UG_Guide_22.pdf

If it's just physical geography you are interested in, it's worth considering if degrees like Geology or Geosciences may be better suited to what you're interested in. You can have a look at those courses here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/degree-programmes/?q=geology&view=detailed

Whether you go for the Geography degrees or another subject, we're very well situated for physical geography here in north east Scotland. We have access to a diverse geologic landscape, from the west coast Highlands to the Lowlands where everything from ancient volcanic rock to evidence of glacial processes are readily available for study. We are also a region where the geology has long impacted human lives, from the granite mining industry to the modern oil and gas sector and our ongoing research into geothermal energy: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/geosciences/research/geothermal-feasibility/
You studies would give you the opportunity to go on field trips to study some of these yourself.

If your deciding between different unis, it's also worth thinking about the cities and what appeals to you. Do you want to be close to or far away from home, do you want to be in a big or small city, are there things/places in that city that you're interested in or will be good for any hobbies you have; those sorts of factors should definitely be on your mind as well as the actual courses of each of the universities. I hope this information is a helpful start but please let us know if you have any more questions!
