You won't even be considered - they want "DDM plus A-level chemistry at grade B".

I have Bsc (hons)degree in biomedical science 2.2 class can I get in and does student finance fund me for a second degree in pharmacy. Is pharmacy considered as an allied health?

Post a message here and ask for advice - Ask Student Finance England Forum - The Student Room

Just be aware that there are no graduate short-cuts with Pharmacy - you would have to do the whole 4-year degree. You also need to find out if Brighton, or any other Uni, would accept you with low-grade BTEC and a 2:2 degree.

Hi @precocious-engin

Thanks for your interest in the University of Brighton! 😊

Although you would not currently be eligible for entry to the Pharmacy MPharm course our admissions team may consider an application from you for the Pharmacy MPharm with preparatory year

BTEC qualifications are considered on a case by case basis for entry to the preparatory year course. Please feel free to apply if this is of interest to you and our admissions team will take into account your full application before making a final decision.

I hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your applications!

Hi @precocious-engin

Pharmacy is not considered an allied health course, so it would not be eligible for a second undergraduate student loan. You would therefore need to fund the course yourself if you have already received the full undergraduate funding through Student Finance.
