Had a threatening email wanting money
I got sent this really scary email saying I know you been watching nasty videos please pay £1000 otherwise a sex tape of you masturbating will be sent out to all your friends and family, any advice on what to do?

Have you been watching “nasty videos”? if not, I’m sure you have nothing to worry about. If you have and somehow they have a video of you masturbating, it would probably be a deepfake or artificial intelligence. Regardless, I’d report to the police asap and I’d also let my friends and family know about this!! Do NOT pay that money! Sometimes scammers copy paste an email and send it around to multiple people, not targeting you! Report to the police and explain everything to them! They can prevent said video being shared if that’s the case or they can debunk to see where it comes from!

Nah they just spam/scams, unless they have any specific personal info I'd just ignore it.
I've had a few of these and they all claim to have videos of me even though my PC doesn't have that function 🙄
