I need help/advice on what to do as a retaking student applying after deadline!

So im a student whos retaking her a levels this year, and im struggling with what i should do. I was intending to do biomedicine but i didnt apply from the deadline because my grades were too low, and i didnt have my new predicteds yet (i was leaning towards not doing so in the first place because the reference i requested has also not been done yet ). I know about clearing but im worried that i wont be able to apply to good unis or get a place to unis that do transfer programs which is what im looking for. My studying has gone well but im just kind of stressed about this, because I really dont want to take another gap year! Any advice would be great...

Do you know when you might have predictions?

I got them in Jan (I just didnt think of applying due to the reference not being done) theyre A*AA
