Trump and Iran - does he mean his threats?

Is Trump just showing off - and merely 'sabre rattling' without any intention of doing anything?

Is he just trying to bully and threaten - with no action because he is actually scared of what Iran would do in return?

Or is he just hoping that the protesters just overthrow the regime themselves, and the USA can then just potter in afterwards and claim the oil and strike some real-estate deals?

Or - is he too focus on his latest big stupid idea - ie.'taking Greenland'?

Some UK military personnel are being withdrawn from the al-Udeid airbase in Qatar, where the RAF is stationed alongside American forces. Earlier it was reported that the US is also withdrawing some service personnel from the base amid an expectation that US strikes could be launched against Iran. All the signs the US could attack Iran as troops pulled from Middle East bases
