Glasgow university fees

I am an a level student and just got an offer from Glasgow uni. I have been in uk since 2020 and arrived here through eu scheme using a Hungarian passport. I became a british citizen but dont have a passport. I cant seem to find info specifically for me as most of sources talk about if youre british you must pay english fees (its 9.7k for 2026 i think) but also that if you arrived by eu scheme youd apply for something and have scottish fee (i think 2k a year instead). It just feels like any info i read onlide doesnt consider me being eligible for both or some suggest neither???
So i am here to ask if anyone has gone though same and where to look for more info or if anyone can help me formulate a proper email to glasgow so that i dont seem like an idiot(i tried the enquiry form but they told me to wait till i get my grades???)

Heyyy, so I'm a scottish student applying to unis in Scoland and England this year but my parents have EU citizenship so I've also had some faff figuring out what different things I'm eligible for too. Not quite the same but I've scoured the internet lol

From what I know I think as long as you have british citizenship you should be eligible for english fees which are £9.7k a year.

According to the Glasgow uni website you are eligible for 'home' or scottish fees if you are an EU national who has pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme. If this is the case you're in luck because home fees in scotland are 0!

Here is the link to the page with this info - University of Glasgow - Undergraduate study - Tuition fees - Policies - Fee status I wouldn't worry too much, as far as I know the unis are pretty good at reaching out to clarify your fee status, it might even be in your offer already.

Congratulations on your offer and good luck!!
