Years worth of experience but no summer placement
I’m in my third year of MEng chemical engineering. Just had a placement year and I’ve been applying for summer internships and I’m just getting rejected in the initial stages for all of them. I definitely didn’t try as hard as I did last year but I’m surprised I haven’t even got a single interview. Should I email my placement company and ask for a summer internship with them again? It feels odd asking since they gave me a goodbye gift and everything just for me to ask to come back in the summer?
