Bristol vet science gateway offer holder day

I need advice
I applied to both vet nursing and the vet science gateway at Bristol . I’ve only gotten an offer for vet nursing and I still haven’t heard back from the gateway course . I really want to do veterinary medicine so I don’t know if I should pick vet science at the offer holder day or vet nursing . Vet nursing was just a back up

If you haven’t got an offer for the vet med course you cannot attend that offer holder day.

It’s giving me the option to pick between both that’s why I’m in two minds

I’m pretty sure it gives you a generic link and you are supposed to go with the one you actually have an offer for, they both run on the same day and the tours are the same but the talks and activities are separate. I would see it as dishonest to pick the one you don’t have an offer for because you are taking a space from someone who does actually have an offer

When is your offer holder day? You could wait until you’ve heard back from the gateway course and then make your decision?

Unfortunately with Bristol, they won’t always get all offers out before the offer holder days as the OHD are designed by the central uni and the vet school admissions have no say (they are planning on doing better because last year it was so quiet due to their timeline and how early the dates were)

The offer holder dates are 14th & 21st March then 15th April - I’ve booked onto 14th, has anyone else?

Initially my application was put on hold then I got an offer for D100 on 20th Jan, wishing you all the best!

So did you apply for d108 and get an offer for d100? Did you interview for either?
I haven’t heard from them since the SAQ and emailed them yesterday for an update…

No love I applied for D100 and got an offer for that. I didn’t have to interview just the SAQ like you’ve done. Have you had any correspondence at all regarding an update?

Not officially, I got an email response today saying they’re still considering me. They said they don’t have a timeline and are sending interviews out on a rolling basis
