Uni of Bristol Accommodation

Hi! I have an offer for Bristol Law and I’m looking at Accoms and realizing they’re quite expensive even the actual uni ones. I do get max SFE but even that doesn’t look like it can cover everything. Does anyone have any recommendations on any websites to look at accoms or just anything in general (I’m not a party person so I’m also trying to avoid accoms that are known for partying) +preferably single sex accoms (female) too but it’s not a necessity.
Thanks!!

Halls wise, the university owned halls are far cheaper than any of the privately owned halls. East and west are seen as ‘less party’ halls but honestly it’s always what you make of it, none of the halls are single sex but some of them do have single sex flats which you can request and this is highlighted on the website which ones can cater towards this

Good evening, I hope you are well and looking forward to your studies!

When it comes to your accommodation, and I realise it sounds simple, but I would just suggest emailing and calling Student Accommodation support. They may be able to give you direct insights and advice and it is always worth having a go!

Best of luck!

I live in Bristol and if you are finding even the uni first year accommodation too expensive ( the rental market for latter years is also pretty tough as Bristol has a housing crisis) , you might want to consider the homeshare scheme https://www.homesharewest.org/ as it could work well for someone who isn’t into the partying part of uni life.
