Oxford Brooke's life sciences Foundation year

Hello I was wondering if anyone knew the content of the oxford Brooke’s life sciences foundation year? I did ask through their questionnaire but I don’t think they’ve got back to me yet. I want to go on to be a mental health nurse, the website says you can use that foundation year to advance to it (subject to other requirements which i assume is DBS, health check etc). I put it down as one of my options

Hello 👋
I hope you are well!
It is great to hear that you are interested in studying the Life Science Foundation course at Oxford Brookes University🎉
The Life Science Foundation course is a one-year programme and after successful completion, you can then progress onto the BSc Mental Health Nursing course. In your application, please indicate that you would like to progress onto this course after the foundation year. Once we receive your application, there will then be further requirements to fulfil for your offer.
The additional requirements are: to pass a subject-specific interview (which should be completed before joining the Life Science Foundation), occupational health review, and disclosure and barring checks (DBS).
However, do not worry about these additional requirements right now as all information on meeting these will be communicated to you once we have reviewed your initial UCAS application.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the admissions team by email: [email protected] or telephone: 01865 535000
We look forward to hopefully seeing you on campus in the future!
