I’ve got an unconditional confirmed place for Cultural and Creative Industries at Nottingham for 2026 and wondered if anyone else is doing the course?

Hi ....i have got an offer as well for BA cultural and creative industries at Universoity of Nottingham for sep 2026 entry. Hope to see many responses ..I am excited (to be a part ) as well as nervous looking at the closure of lots of courses at the university.

Hi! It’s completely understandable to have questions when you see headlines or discussions like this, so thanks for raising it.

What we can say is that the number of course suspensions/closures is very small and targeted, and any applicants or offer-holders affected have already been contacted directly. If you haven’t received any communication about your course, that means it isn’t impacted.

If you’d like to double-check, the University website always shows the full list of live courses open for 2026 entry.
In terms of the wider picture, these decisions are about making sure the University remains sustainable long-term, while protecting the quality of teaching, support and student experience for current and future students. For the vast majority of courses, delivery, class sizes, assessment and student support are continuing as planned.

Because of data protection and the need to give course-specific advice, we can’t discuss individual cases on TSR. If you still have concerns about your particular offer or course, the best next step is to contact the University directly via the official enquiry form so our team can look into it properly for you.
