Radiography job prospects

If i choose to do radiography at university then what would i do if there are no radiographer vacancies in my area. I was worried that if i do a course at university and i cant find a job afterwards my degree would go to waste. also if there is a vacancy elsewhere a class of 30 people who are all studying the same subject would be competing for that 1 role advertised which would probably hire 2-3 people. i don't know how to explain it properly

If there are no radiographer vacancies in your area then you apply to areas that do have radiographer vacancies. And yes, there will be more applicants than positions available, but this is true of most jobs - that's the job market for you.

Getting jobs will boil down to having had enough CV building (read: work experience) to get an interview, and then being able to sell yourself in that interview.
