i forgot to add a bibliography on my exam

hi guys, so i had my first exam due on Tuesday 13th. it was a written exam done in a hall and in this case a bibliography was not needed.

however, due to my special arrangements, i was allowed to do it at home and submit it digitally. this meant the rules were different for me and i was required to add a bibliography, which i didn’t realise until now.

we use the harvard refencing system so i do have my intext citations throughout i just didn’t add the bibliography at the end.

what do i do??

Heyyyyy
I really wouldn’t stress. You’ve used Harvard in-text citations throughout, which is what actually matters for academic honesty. A missing bibliography is usually treated as a presentation/technical issue, not plagiarism. Just email your teacher or exams officer now, explain that because your exam conditions were different, you misunderstood the requirement, and attach the bibliography. Being upfront straight away works in your favour. At most, it’s likely to be a small mark deduction, but honestly, I’d be surprised if it went further than that. Loads of people make referencing slip-ups the key thing is that your sources are clearly acknowledged in the essay itself. Definitely better to flag it now than hope no one notices, but this really isn’t the end of the world.
