Which is better

Would you rather have mathematics degree at de Montfort university or land economy at Cambridge University? And you would be getting a first either way.

What type of question is this? 😭
Land Economy at Cambridge any day, any situation, any career path.

What did De Montfort do to you?

Greater Manchester is a worse uni IMO

I presented this question to my father and he said de montfert. Unsure why some people have an extreme fear of the non-stem. Seems like every degree is cooked either way so you might as well have the chance to network at a top uni.

It depends on future career path to a certain extent. If you are pursuing Econ/Finance/Business, your course/degree literally does not matter, it's just the school. Even for quant, the school is much more valuable than the course. For anything else, Cambridge is basically a guaranteed interview / round 1 pass.

Hi there,

Thanks for showing your interest in studying with us.

We don’t currently offer a standalone Mathematics degree. If you’re interested in mathematical thinking, you may want to explore related courses such as Computer Science, Data Analytics or Engineering, which include mathematical concepts and focus on applying them in industry

Best wishes,
Elmehdi - DMU representative and current student
