Birkbeck experience??

I got an unconditional offer from Birkbeck for Business Computing but ugh I live in Birmingham and not sure how the commute will be plus if it’s a decent uni in regards to this course

The teaching is usually constrained to 2 days per week. Many students commute in those days, and from Birmingham it's about 2h? There are also hybrid teaching options but it would probably make better sense to be in the classroom when needed. It is one of the oldest computing schools in the country I believe.

Oh wow. Thank you for replying, trying to choose between Birkbeck and Bcu/Aston and having a hard time 😭. Thinking to just attend the open days to get a feel of the place .

no problem! I think you might want to see where you will feel most 'at home'... so going to offer days or open days would be a good option. Good luck!
