Situationship help - but I really like him

Hi, this boy has been in my life since May 2023. When I first met him, I didn’t really like him, he really liked me. He asked me to be his girlfriend but I just couldn’t because I didn’t have that strong feelings there. In the November of 2024, he took my virginity. I was drunk, but I’m glad he took it. Ever since then, we have been on and off constantly. It’s always been really 2 months of not speaking to them speaking again to them not. In October just gone we admitted that we did both like each other but then all of a sudden, he distanced himself from me because a girl came along. I found out and looking back, I looked like an absolute beg the way I was to him. Anyway, in December he ended things with her, and three weeks later, I get a message saying ‘hi’ and blah blah blah. We then decide to start seeing eachother again, but we are both unsure on a relationship. We have slept together multiple times in the past week and a half and a week ago today he asked me if I was happy and I said yeah are you and he said ‘that’s a stupid question’. When I lie on him, I can hear his heart race. Which obviously means something. We also talked about going on dates, going the races together and even, his birthday which is next month. Also, he removed that girl for me, and she messaged him kicking off and he said im seeing (my name) and she was being nasty towards him but he was sticking up for the both of us.
Yesterday he ended things with me. I knew something was off because he wasn’t putting his arm round on me in bed. I then said I’m gonna leave now then put his arm round me. I said ‘if you don’t want this to carry on, I’d rather know now’ and he said ‘I’ve been thinking’. After that we said a few things, nothing hurtful, but I got out of his bed, got changed and got my bag on then said, ‘enjoy being on your own, you’re a prick’ because he said he needed to be on his own? As soon as I left I blocked him on everything but had to add him back on Snapchat because I thought I left my purse, I never but anyway, I removed him after that. Didn’t block. A few hours later, I see that he’s blocked me on Snapchat? And this is what I’m genuinely confused about as to why he’s the one who’s blocked me?
I know it sounds like he’s messed me about a lot but I also have prior to October 2024 but I still really like him and I know he does with me I just do. That’s why we always come back to eachother I’m just confused as to why he’s ended it with me and why he’s blocked me. HELP!!!!
