Durham Offers

Hi I applied for Durham's Health and Human Sciences Foundation Year Course L691. I am starting to stress however because all my friends are getting durham offers even though some applied after i had sent my application off i send mine late november. My predicted grades ABB however i applied to the foundation year as I have health problems and my teachers advised that I should go for the foundation year. I am scared it has hindered my application

Hi there,

I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can be waiting for a response. Offers from Durham will be coming through up until May time, so don't worry about waiting - when I applied, I didn't get an offer until the middle of March, despite hearing about others who had. In no way will your application to a foundation year hinder your application, it will be considered fairly. 😊

Durham has a holistic process in considering applications, hence why it can take a while, especially in busier periods like now - the admissions team is working hard to ensure all applications are considered equally and thoroughly. By no means does this suggest you're any less likely to receive an offer, simply just that response times might be a bit delayed. 😄
