Higher English 2026 Prelim

Hi I was just wondering, has anyone sat the Higher English P&N 2026 prelim, as I have it on Monday, I'm just wondering what the prose questions were, RUAE topic as well as what MacCaig poem was included, if no one has sat it's fine.
Any help would be appreciated

I done the P&N paper but I only saw the RUAE, the critical reading stuff only had what was applicable to me (the slab boys) so I can’t help you with that. The RUAE is about basically technology in schools is affecting children. Some weird “PDF to brain rot” stuff as well. If you want the article, just go the “Princess brain rot and the end of civilisation” by The Times. I forgot what the second article was about :P
Hope this helped!

the Duffy poem was medusa and commonality was on human emotion and I found the RUAE challenging but still pretty fair.

Nah but the questions for prose were, on relationships of two characters and how is that important, i forgot the other two, The Exam Poem in MacCaig was Hotel Room 12th floor, and the commonality was how do imagery and symbolism contribute to the central concerns in the text
