SFE maintenance

I have took a break in learning due to health reasons.
I am due to return soon I previously received 2 payments.
I was withdraw due to non attendance rather than health (on the system) due to poor communication between departments at uni(this has since been corrected). I have completed a return to learning form for said uni.
SFE are phoning me on a near daily basis regarding repayment - I am avoiding.
But now a return to learning has been triggered - re form.
How would this affect future payments and how would they work?

Thankyou in advance.

Hi there,

What academic year did you withdraw in? Are you returning for the 2025/26 academic year? When does your course start? We will deduct the overpayment from your future payments if it has not been paid back.

Thanks, Dew

I don’t believe there has been an over payment. It was stopped as soon as uni notified. I am due to return first week of march I’ve been told.

I withdrew in November.

Hi there, if your university has updated Student Finance England with regards to to pending return, then once you return back to studies and they confirm this to us, we will look to reassess your application and be able to provide a further update with regards to any overpayment. I would ask that you check with your university that they have indeed submitted your expected resumption of studies.

I have returned the call today after being sent a reference number via text. Spoke to relevant department regarding this and 2nd department regarding returning. This is now temporarily resolved and I have been provided with all information needed to move forward with this.
Is there anyway to close this down and delete this thread.
This is not a forum I have used before.
Thankyou.

Hi there. Glad you have it resolved for now. I think you will need to delete this post from your end if that's something you wish to do. Thanks, Leah.
