its not impossible but you shouldnt expect an offer on weekends, they arent actively giving out offers on weekends it could be a delay in communicating to ucas or something

Uni Admissions offices don't work at weekends - but some decisions sent to UCAS on a Friday evening will sometimes appear as offers on Saturday morning. Usually you can just relax over the weekends without needing to constantly check your phone.

Hi,

As mentioned above, offers are usually sent during the working week and updated via UCAS. However, it’s still possible to receive an update over the weekend if there’s a delay from Friday evening.

Hope this helps,

I just got two offers today: one at 9am this morning and one at 9pm this evening! I guess they are working overtime!

That's amazing! Where did you get your offers from?

Some Unis will send their online data-file to UCAS when the rest of their system is quiet - at some it can be automated to go in the early hours of the next day.

Hi @zia_228

Great question!

As others have stated, the admissions do not work weekends but sometimes decisions can come through in the morning so offers can come Monday-Saturday, but during the week is most common.

You cannot predict exactly when you will receive your offer, so I recommend distracting yourself with studies, work or hobbies. Personally, my offers ranged from October-April. It varies every year and between different universities and courses.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,

Thank you πŸ™‚ I had submitted my application just before the equal consideration date...So, I may get my decisions during March or April...

Hey there, that’s a very understandable question, especially when you’re waiting for a decision. At LSBU and other universities, most admissions decisions are processed during normal working hours, which are typically Monday to Friday. It’s less common for offers or updates to be issued over the weekend because admissions teams usually work standard office hours.

I hope that helps!
