Some of the countries on there are pretty safe countries and (from what you hear on the news) dont seem to cause any trouble. The ones in the Caribbean for example. Why suspend immigrant visas from there.

A lot of the info they use would be based off the cost to the US on Welfare. The study "borderless welfare state" google it (page 93) of the study will give you a rough idea why some of those countries are banned.

Interestingly enough as a side point if you apply those numbers to our economy and based off immigration since covid. adjusted for inflation our welfare spending will increase by about 3.5 trillion (todays money) over the next 75 years and if adjust that for inflation it's insane.

If its the cost to welfare then thats reasonable. All of the countries on the list cant be that bad (cost to the welfare state wise) though can they?
