How to stop refreshing my email every 2 minutes?

I very recently interviewed at Bath for their Social Work course and absolutely fell in love with the university and the course itself… I’ve been refreshing UCAS and my email literally since I left the building on the day of the interview! I’m so enthusiastic about the concept of going there but really need to stop obsessing over it 😭

Well done on the interview! Did they tell you roughly how long it would be before you hear (within two weeks etc)?

It happens!

Try and find something else to focus your mind on. Offers would only be sent between Monday and Friday. In previous years, the email from Bath usually comes in the evening (around 9pmish), but they may have changed this since.

do your fav hobby to distract urself . or watch movies or play games or exercise to pass time, u will eventually temporarily forget about it

Hi there 😊

Congrats on getting an interview at Bath and it's great to hear about your enthusiasm! I know it can take a bit of time in between doing the interview and receiving offers. I can understand that it can be difficult to stay patient!

But in the meantime, distract yourself with hobbies, going for walks, going out with friends. Maybe build up some life skills so when you go to uni you're able to cook, do laundry and live independently. Once you keep yourself busy, you won't want to check your emails as often.

Be sure to book your Offer Holder Day to meet people who have also received your course offer and speak to the lecturers and ask all your questions.
