UCAS mistake

I made a mistake by putting the wrong nationality on my UCAS form and I know I have to contact UCAS asap but I recently got an offer by the university of Hertfordshire and they are making me fill out a tuition fee form but I think it is due to my mistake. I have contacted the uni but they said they will reply In a week or more. I'm scared it will affect my application.
Unless you’re applying to Scottish unis this shouldn’t affect the outcome of your application, only your fee status.

Your fee status should be easily resolved via the fee reassessment process.

Hi,

Don’t worry too much, mistakes like this happen and can usually be fixed. You’ve done the right thing by contacting UCAS and the university. It may take some time for them to reply, but as long as you’ve taken action, it shouldn’t affect your application. As mentioned, it’s just your fee status that will need updating.

Hope this helps,

Hi @Naqsy. Do not panic and do not get stressed. If you made a mistake on your UCAS application then it can always be rectified just as long as you act quickly. The right thing to do here is if you made a mistake with your nationality then you should contact UCAS in the first instance so they are able to update your information. Given the fact that the university looks at nationality which helps determine your tuition fee and that depends if your a home student or overseas student. It is completely procedure and normal for the University of Hertfordshire to send you a tuition fee form if they are not sure about your current status. I hope this helped and good luck with everything! 😀
