business -> just try past papers, much of business you will pick up on this way
combined sciences -> flashcards flashcards flashcards, I was getting 4-3s consistently, but then I made flashcards using science shorts's mind map videos for each paper and got an 8-7, flashcards are helping me with A-levels rn (AAA predicted in cs bio and history and majority of ym revision everyday is flashcards)
maths -> self explanatory really, just practice practice practice, do questions on 1stclassmaths.com or mathsgenie.com
eng lit -> remember a handful of quotes, I remembered around 15 for each text, and 3 for each of the big 5 poems and walked away with one mark off a 7, analysis is much more important and I recommend mr salles for that, his analysis is always great (dont use him for eng lang tho)
eng lang -> mr everything English single handedly got me a 6, I was on 3s beforehand
history -> just like eng lit analysis is important here just as much as memorisation of dates is, the memorisation is the easier part tbh, and structure can get you high marks, Id listen to your teachers advice on structure, memorise key dates, and attempt exam questions and get ur teachers to mark them
unfortunately I cant help with re and geo as I didnt take them, hope everything else helped tho, good luck !

Do exam questions AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

Pmt was AMAZING when looking for notes.
Don’t waste loads of time making notes instead try and look for pre made ones on pmt or quizlet. Try and do as many practice questions/ tests that you can so you get used to the type of thing that you will be working with.
For a visual learner YouTube is really good ( mr everything English is good) and it actually explains the work to you.
Don’t just reread notes try and use flashcards or blurting methods.
Little but often really helps so try your best!
For me mocks were harder than the exam so don’t stress yourself out, work hard and u will get there!

For RS:
I just did my mocks and my quizlets were thr thing that saved me knowledgewise. Genuinely they helped me remember so much and I'd go through a few sets (40-60 quick flashcards) throughout the day like on the way to school, extra time in lessons etc..
This was probably the one thing that helped me with knowledge as I was the one choosing what quotes would stick best in my brain when i made them and information that i thought I could use for multiple different contexts (like Protestants believe in salvation through belief) so you can link to other questions. Also the act of making the flashcards was helpful in that I was constantly thinking 'how do I summarise this?', 'how should I split the information so I would understand?'

Basically, don't skip out on your flashcards (or other active recall methods) for RS and when you make/find them, make sure to frequently revise them.

Thank you so much because in my mocks I got 66/96 as I missed at whole 12 marker so your advice is very useful thanks:smile:
