Which universities are you looking at? UCAS will translate entry requirements into their tariff points, but most universities do not consider them. Do you meet the published entry requirements for the midwifery courses you're looking at?

Teesside university, I’m currently studying access to he health and science but I’ve been told I’m looking at 115 points meaning I will be roughly 5 points out

Am I right in assuming that the UCAS points you get are dependant on the grades you get in your Access to HE? If so, then what you have to do is try to get better grades in your remaining courseworks and exams.

I would also get in touch with Teeside to see how strict they are with their entry requirements and what can you do in your situation

It's hard to say as it will depend on how many places are left on results day once the uni has accepted all the offer holders who have met their offer conditions. Unis will then look at near-miss candidates to fill any remaining places (if you are 5 points short, that is a very near miss).

Hi, It's hard to say what happens next. I would advise having a look at strong alternatives like foundation year. It's also worth emailing admissions directly and discussing your concerns.
